Congress Grants USPS 8-Month Reprieve on Prefunding Payment
12.19.2011 - The funding bill passed by Congress over the weekend grants the USPS an eight-month reprieve, giving the Postal Service until August to make a $5.5 billion payment to prefund retiree health benefits, reports the Washington Post. The bill also mandates continuation of six-day delivery. -
